The shaft of the Bauer Nexus E3 features Bauer’s UD carbon shaft technology. This is a lightweight carbon fiber material used in the shaft and blade for high performance. This allows the stick to be a lightweight 450 grams.

Down in the blade of the Nexus E3, Bauer is using Cellcore technology, which is a lightweight foam that has high carbon content for easier control of the puck.
